MariHacks IX
Overview
MariHacks is Montreal's first and largest 24-hour hackathon for CEGEP and high
school students. Organized by Marianopolis College students and hosted on
campus, we will bring over 300 people from all over the country together to prototype their innovative ideas and push their creativity forward. We strive to foster a learning environment that is both challenging and fun for all hackers, from novice programmers to seasoned coders. We’re back for our 9th edition this year with one goal in mind: to make this hackathon the best of all hackathons!
Why Hackathons
Hackathons provide passionate learners with the opportunity to explore the endless possibilities of the world of computer science by building meaningful projects alongside fellow students who share similar interests. The workshops offered throughout our event allow even complete beginners to acquire new skills and to apply them to build a creation they are truly passionate about.
Why You Should Sponsor Us
Sponsoring MariHacks is a fantastic way to gain direct access to top student talent from Quebec’s leading CEGEPs and high schools, while reaching a large audience of young tech enthusiasts. By sponsoring MariHacks, you are also empowering the 300+ students who sign up to MariHacks to reach their full potential and build a positive brand image rooted in youth empowerment.
What We Need
In order to host a fun and enriching hackathon, we need to provide hackers with everything they need to perform their tasks and have an enjoyable experience. From digital tools and equipment to prizes, snacks, and entertainment, hackathons are quite expensive and that is why we need your help! All funds and contributions are directly invested in MariHacks itself to make our event the most memorable possible!
